Co-founders Corry Matthews and Jen Mentesana bring keynote speakers Jen Gottlieb and Amberly Lago to Redondo Beach for the 2026 Signature Event

REDONDO BEACH, CA, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Thrive South Bay, a women's empowerment group founded by Corry Matthews and Jen Mentesana, returns for its 2026 Signature Event at California Surf Club in Redondo Beach on October 8, 2026, bringing together ambitious, heart-led women for a day of nationally recognized speakers, authentic connection, and curated wellness experiences.

This year's keynote lineup features Jen Gottlieb, a Top 50 keynote speaker, author of “Be Seen,” and co-creator of Super Connector Media, alongside Amberly Lago, bestselling author of “Joy Through the Journey” and “True Grit and Grace” and host of The Amberly Lago Show. Together with founders Matthews and Mentesana, they'll headline an afternoon of four transformative talks designed to help women invest in themselves and rise together.

“Women spend so much of their lives taking care of everyone else that they often put themselves last. We created THRIVE to put women back on their own calendars—to invest in their health, purpose and what’s next, surrounded by women who genuinely want to see them succeed.” said Matthews.

“THRIVE South Bay has grown tremendously, and this year we’re taking the experience to an entirely new level, creating a powerful day of inspiration, connection and access unlike anything else for women in the South Bay.” said Mentesana.

The day begins with arrival at 1:00 p.m., followed by main programming from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. General admission tickets ($197) include entry to all four talks, sponsor spotlights from local and national brands, and a curated swag bag. VIP tickets ($297) add an exclusive healthy VIP dinner and intimate expert panel from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., a premium VIP swag box, an exclusive book, and a signature gold necklace.

This year’s event will also support South Bay nonprofit Indivisible Arts, a 501(c)(3) organization helping young people build mental well-being and emotional resilience through creativity and mindful awareness. World-renowned artist Beth Bowen will once again donate an original piece of artwork for a live auction, with proceeds benefiting Indivisible Arts and its work to bring mindset and mindfulness tools to the next generation. The partnership reflects a belief shared by both organizations: thriving starts from within - and the earlier we learn that, the better.

Last year's attendees described Thrive South Bay as a space where women “truly lifted each other up” and left feeling “empowered, supported, and connected,” and organizers say this year's expanded speaker roster and VIP experience raise the bar further.
